Today I’m excited to share a fun summer bucket list printable with you! Its officially summer here in Texas! My boys have just finished up with school and I am happy to report that we all survived homeschool in the spring of 2020.
This summer will definitely be a little different from our summers in the past. I know there are a lot of things closed, and some of our favorite activities and places will contune to stay closed during the summer break. Much of our summer break will be spent at home enjoying our backyard, or nearby parks and outdoor recreation areas. Many of us may continue to social distance throughout the summer, which, I know for us, sometimes seems harder and harder each day of 2020.
When they’re not playing legos or swimming, my boys can get bored easily and often look to me to entertain them. I put together a fun summer bucket list for kids to help encourage us during your summer break.
This is a free printable and totally kid-approved! My boys read through the whole list and they are really excited to pick one each day to focus on (they even added a few too!). These are all easy to do and can be done while your favorite summer activities are closed. This list is perfect for any age group and can easily be accomplished a little every day… especially if you’re like me with school-aged kids and a baby!
My boys have loved crossing off each activity, and this summer bucket list helps them look forward to doing something exciting each week. I also love that this bucket list gives us a few different options that we might not have considered before. There is plenty of fun outdoor activities and a lot of imaginary play too. Be sure to keep an eye out for more family fun blog posts to help keep the kids entertained this summer!
