It’s no secret that we love Halloween in my house. Every Friday in October, you can catch us either watching a Halloween family movie with our outdoor screen or making something fun and festive in the kitchen. We love spending time together as a family, being creative, eating yummy themed treats, or watching outdoor movies.
One of our favorite deserts is cookies, we love baking them and dressing them up. These Monster Sugar Cookies are so easy to make as a family, and perfect for a family Halloween party, school party, or any kind of Halloween celebration. With just a few supplies, you can whip these cookies up in no time!
Ingredients To Make Halloween Monster Sugar Cookies:
- Round sugar cookies
- Buttercream Icing in 3 colors
- Candy Eyes
- Piping bag
- Wilton piping tip #233
Directions For Monster Sugar Cookies:
- Add buttercream to a piping bag fitted with a Wilton #233 grass tip.
- Pipe buttercream on top of sugar cookie. Press firmly on piping bag, with tip against cookie, and pull up while pressing on bag. Release grip once the buttercream strands are long enough to resemble monster hair.
- Add candy eyes to the top of the buttercream (2 or more to create fun monsters).
- Repeat until cookies are gone, and enjoy!
