Looking for a fun Halloween dessert? The kids will love these Mummy Cookies, plus they are so easy and quick to make too!

Who doesn’t love dipping cookies in milk (or in our case- melted chocolate)?! Kiddos love helping make these adorable Mummy Cookies! Halloween is one of our favorite holidays in my house. We love dressing up, decorating and creating yummy Halloween treats together in the kitchen. These Halloween Mummy Cookies are a perfect dessert to add to school lunches, Halloween parties, or family gatherings. Bonus, you just need a few simple ingredients! 

Grab your favorite cookies- mine just so happen to be Nutter Butters, some almond bark, and candy eyes, and you’ve got all the ingredients for these simple cookies.

Ingredients to make Halloween Mummy Cookies:

Directions for Halloween Mummy Cookies:

  1. Melt almond bark according to package directions.
  2. Add melted almond bark to a small bowl or cup.
  3. Take apart the sandwich cookie. Dip the tip of the popsicle stick into melted almond bark, and lay on top of the cookie icing.  Add the second half of the cookie to complete the cookie sandwich and close. Allow melted almond bark to set, about 10 minutes. 
  4. Holding the end of the popsicle stick, dip the cookie into melted almond bark and completely cover.  Wipe any excess melted almond bark on the side of the cup. Add 2 candy eyes to each cookie, near the middle to top. Lay cookie down to set, 10-15 minutes.
  5. Add melted almond bark to a piping bag or sandwich baggie and snip off the end. 
  6. Pipe melted almond bark to top of cookie making small lines across the top of the cookie. Top with Sprinkles.
  7. Allow cookies to set and enjoy!

Do I need to use Almond Bark?

You can use white candy melts, or any kind of white chocolate. I love that almond bark is easy to work with, and melts quickly!

How do I store the cookies?

These cookies are best stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
